50% of HBS is owned by Hulamin and 50% by Mazor. Hulamin is the largest manufacturer of rolled products on the African continent producing more than 200 000 tons of aluminium products per year and Hulamin Extrusions is the industry leader in quality extrusion products. Mazor has more than 25 years experience in structural steel, glass and aluminium facades. Mazor is a highly successful listed profitable company that brings an entrepreneurial flair to HBS as well as an intimate understanding of fenestration. This means that HBS has more backup than any other distributor of aluminium profiles.

Only HBS sell a unique range of branded products. NuKlip is the only branded shopfront system in South Africa, HulaBond is the biggest selling aluminium composite panel in South Africa, Technal is Europe's biggest selling fenestration system only available from HBS and Hulasign is the only "off the shelf" signage panel.
More innovative inventory practices
The versatility for the NuKlip system means that only 137 sections are needed to fabricate shop fronts, doors, windows and flush glazing applications. This means that less inventory is needed to do so much more. HulaBond is the only aluminium composite panels available off the shelf in South Africa. Technal is manufactured locally under licence ensuring availability of a European system.

As a Technal licence holder we have direct access to the technical team of Hydro Building Systems in Europe which ensures that we remain up to date with global fenestration practices.
